A guest list of 20 people. An outdoor courtyard ceremony. A plated dinner around a single long table. And florals so gorgeous I genuinely could not stop taking pictures of them.

E & C’s wedding was the kind of day that reminds me exactly why I do this. Every detail was intentional. Every moment felt grounded and joyful. From start to finish, this celebration reflected their personalities, their values, and their love for the people closest to them.

If you have ever considered a micro wedding, let this be your sign. A smaller guest count gave E & C the chance to really be present with everyone who came. The reception felt more like a cozy dinner party than a formal event. There were heartfelt toasts, big laughs, and genuine connection. No one got lost in the shuffle. Everyone was included.

The courtyard ceremony brought on all the emotions. There was not a dry eye as they exchanged vows, and the way they looked at each other... you could feel the gravity and joy of the moment just hanging in the air.

I was lucky enough to photograph their engagement session too. We wandered through the Science Museum and spent the entire time laughing. It is always fun when couples pick locations that feel true to them, and even more fun when you get to capture their goofiness and chemistry along the way.

From that first consultation call, I knew I was going to love working with these two. They are the kind of couple who make you feel like an old friend right away.

Micro weddings are often underrated, but they are some of my favorite celebrations to photograph. When the day is about connection and closeness and sharing a meal with the people who matter most, it becomes so much more than just an event. It becomes a memory that feels warm in your chest every time you think about it.

Congratulations again to E & C. Thank you for letting me be a part of your celebration.
