A brunch wedding? Yes, please!
KP and T threw tradition to the wind and crafted a wedding day that was uniquely theirs—starting with a morning ceremony followed by a mouthwatering brunch featuring chicken and waffles. Their guests were all about it, cheering as they broke the glass. But in true queer wedding fashion, they did it their way—both of them stomped on the glass together. Because why not?
That’s one of the things I love most about queer weddings. There’s no rigid guidebook, no “must-dos”—just the freedom to create a celebration that reflects who you are. KP and T both carried bouquets, both changed into comfy shoes after the ceremony, and instead of a traditional dance floor, they opted for a romantic, intimate first dance that felt just right for them. Their cocktail hour? A dream. Think: bagels and lox (I love Jewish weddings).
Common House turned out to be the perfect venue—spacious enough to host all their loved ones while still feeling warm and intimate. And speaking of special guests, their flower dog stole the show, trotting down the aisle like it was their moment to shine.
KP and T’s wedding style made my lil femme heart so happy. KP looked incredible in their white pants, corset top, and sleek white jacket, while T was stunning in her lacey white dress. The color palette brought everything together with fresh greens, soft pinks, and vibrant pops of florals.
Their love story began in college, and two of their longtime friends gave toasts that had the entire room soft, reminiscing about how it was always clear these two were meant for each other. The running joke? KP has been calling T their wife for years—now, it’s official. Even the pouring rain couldn’t dampen the joy of this day.
