There’s truly nothing like the comfort of home. For babies especially, home is their safe space—the place where they’re most at ease. It also makes life so much easier for parents! Need a diaper change? No problem. Drool emergency? A towel is always within arm’s reach.
That’s why I absolutely love at-home baby photoshoots. This recent session with the Favor family and their little one, C, was a perfect example of how wonderful and natural these shoots can be.
We started in Ashley and Zach’s bedroom, where their duvet cover provided a soft, clean backdrop for C’s sweet giggles and gummy smiles. Afterward, we moved to her nursery, where the crib became the perfect setting for more candid moments.
C was a natural in front of the camera—staring directly at me with such curiosity. Maybe it was her inner model shining through, or maybe she was just intrigued by the big black camera I was holding. Either way, her expressions were priceless!
What I love most about photographing families in their homes is the authenticity it brings to the session. These photos aren’t just a snapshot of a moment—they’re a time capsule. They capture the tiny details of your baby’s life: the size of their little fingers, their favorite toys, and the way you laugh and play together as a family.
