J and J had a bright, beautiful July wedding at Prospect Hill Inn. T, the inn’s owner, also serves as an incredible wedding coordinator, and with catering and florals handled in-house, the entire day felt seamless from start to finish.
Both J and J brought children into their marriage, along with a lively crew of nieces and nephews. Martinelli’s sparkling cider and handcrafted mocktails flowed just as freely as the champagne, making sure everyone had something special to toast with.
The pair chose not to do a first look, saving that moment for when J’s father walked her down the aisle. Seeing each other for the first time there felt intentional and emotional in the best way. Earlier that morning, J was surprised by her sister, who flew in from Hawaii with leis in hand
The guest list was intimate, made up of close family and longtime friends. While the original plan called for a fully outdoor reception, July had other ideas. The heat was intense, so we pivoted and transformed one of the inn’s blue-walled dining rooms into a reception space filled with natural light and windows overlooking the property. It ended up feeling cozy, elegant, and exactly right.
After dinner and dessert inside, everyone moved back outdoors for dancing and toasts under the summer sky. The sunset absolutely showed up for them, wrapping the whole celebration in that warm, golden light you hope for but can’t plan.
