Lucy and Connor are vibrant people with great senses of humor, niche hobbies, and a general love of life. I've had the honor of knowing Lucy for over a decade, and watching her and Connor's romance blossom has been magical. They complement each other perfectly, from admiring Cthulhu-shaped pumpkins in the patch to discussing how to create a medieval-inspired yet functional terrarium.
For their photoshoot, we chose Belle Isle in the James River Park System to bask in the June sunset. If you're planning to visit the island, check out the Riverside Outfitters' Instagram offshoot @howsthejamesrva. They update three times daily with river height, temperature, and other important info about the James River, which is super helpful if you're planning to explore the flat basking rocks or wade along the bank. The park is open from sunrise to sunset, and the parking lot is almost always full on nice summer evenings. I recommend parking on the hill above the Civil War Museum and walking down towards the bridge's base by Dominion Energy.
