Birth Photoshoot Experience

Hi there!

Thank you for choosing Fingerprint Photo Studio to capture your birth. Birth photography is anything but posed - it's raw, candid, and shows the sheer goddess power of womanhood. As a birth photographer, I'll be a fly on the wall with my camera and document everything exactly as it is. You are literally bringing life into the world.

Please fill out the following questionnaire with your information. Then we'll get a meet and greet set up while I draft your contract! I am so excited for you in this tremendous moment. We'll talk about what you want (is it okay if I use flash, what level of nudity you are comfortable with, how you picked the name for your baby, etc.) and go through what that means in terms of birth photography!

This is all about you- I'm just there to create the time capsule of what's happening before and during your baby's first moments in the world.

Birth Sessions Include

Add Ons For Birth Clients

An in person meet and greet prior to the birth
On call 39 weeks to 41 weeks
Birth coverage from labor to ~2 hours postpartum up to a total of 8 hours
Minimum of 100 high resolution photos delivered digitally within 6 weeks
A 24 hour sneak peek of ~10 images

$1750 investment

Payment Requirements

Upon receipt of contract, a $450 non-refundable retainer is required to hold your weeks I will be on call
The remainder must be made in full by 38 weeks

Maternity Session

1 hour maternity session
Up to three other family members included

Minimum of 30 high resolution photos delivered digitally within 4 weeks
$175 investment when booking a birth session

Postpartum Family Session

1 hour at home session within 2 weeks of delivery
Up to three other family members included

Minimum of 30 high resolution photos delivered digitally within 4 weeks
$200 investment when booking a birth session

The Big Question: What happens if the birth is missed?

In your contract, you will find a complete run down! Also feel free to email me questions. :) While I will do everything within my power to be there for your delivery, sometimes things happen (labor can be quick, an emergency C section with hospital transfer, etc). Even if the delivery is over, I will arrive on site as soon as possible to take postpartum pictures for 1 - 2 hours and then will follow up with an at home or in hospital "Fresh 48" session.
